Trimbakeshwar Temple is one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is located in the town of Trimbak, near Nashik, at the foothills of the Brahmagiri mountains. The temple was built in the 18th century by Peshwa Nana Saheb and is made of black basalt stone. The Jyotirlinga here is unique as it represents Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva together. The temple is also the origin of the holy Godavari River, often called the "Ganga of the South." Devotees perform rituals like Narayan Nagbali, Kalsarpa Shanti, and Rudrabhishek at this temple. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga attracts lakhs of devotees, especially during the festival of Mahashivratri and Kumbh Mela.
